Where can I find Makshy pieces?

Makshy pieces are available through my online shop and on Etsy. I occasionally collaborate with select boutiques on small, exclusive runs, and you can also try the hats and place orders during open studio events, which I announce on social media.

What sizes are available?

Check each product listing for available sizes and measurement instructions. For caps, sizes are based on a base size with adjustability. If you use US hat sizes, see the equivalents below.

How do I measure my head for a hat?

Use a flexible tape measure (or string) to measure around your head:

  • Position it across your forehead, about 2cm above your ears, and around the widest part of your head.
  • Keep it snug but not tight.
  • Measure 2–3 times for accuracy.

When will my order be shipped?

  • Made-to-order hats and caps: usually within a few weeks of purchase.
  • Ready-to-wear pieces: within 1–2 working days.

When will my order arrive?

  • UK: 1–3 working days
  • Europe: 5–7 working days
  • USA: 5–7 working days
  • Rest of the world: 5–10 working days

Orders to the United States

For orders delivered to the United States, customs duties and import taxes are prepaid at checkout. This means there should be no additional customs charges to pay on delivery.

EU & Norway shipping is currently suspended

Shipping to EU countries and Norway is temporarily suspended due to new packaging compliance requirements, including the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). The regulatory requirements and their implementation are still developing, and complying separately with the requirements for each destination is not currently practical for a small independent business. I will do my best to resume shipping as soon as there is greater clarity and a workable way to meet the requirements.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes — I ship to most countries. Customs duties and import taxes are prepaid at checkout for orders to the US. For all other international destinations, customs duties or import taxes may be charged on arrival.
